Happy Friday!

Hey guys and gals!

Happy Friday! In case you’re new around here, I like to keep the thoughts I allow to occupy my mind on Fridays to those of a happy nature. I encourage others to do the same. This weekend is the start to Thanksgiving. A time for spending time with those who matter to you. Be it blood family, adopted family, or framily. I always look forward to seeing my family on Thanksgiving. I come from a family with 35-50 guests on holiday dinners so I’m used to getting to catch up with a lot of people which I like. This year I get to introduce my babes, so I’m pretty excited about that. What do you guys have going on? Anything fun or noteworthy? If not, come hang Wednesday night.

For the last several years, have been attending the Annual night before thanksgiving Kiss Rub Punch show at Good ‘ol Days. Everyone’s home for the holidays, so you get to see some faces you haven’t seen in awhile. Plus, it’s KRP. Awesome upbeat covers from Prince to 311, Bruno Mars to Sublime, and Montel Jordan to No Doubt, KRP gets bodies on the dance floor. This is my first thanksgiving without either of my parents, but when they were alive, it’s something both came to and enjoyed with my brother Chris and me every year, and that’s not soon going to stop. I’ll be taking pics if you’re out and about, so come on up.

As a photographer, it’s usually a pretty busy week for me as while family is in town, parents want family pictures. I have a couple days open next week, so we’ll see what all I can get in to. If you all know of any events going on in FOCO, I might be down to swing by assuming schedules align.
