Infrastructure expansion that can increase development density, growth capacity, and long-term residential and commercial expansion in Forsyth County.
The Board authorized staff to proceed with the Public Hearing process to modify the Sewer Usage Ordinance to adjust the percentage thresholds for sewer usage and to remove the Yellow Creek Node from the Ordinance. The Yellow Creek Node had served as a cap on sewer connections in a high-growth area; its removal from the ordinance represents a significant loosening of sewer expansion constraints.
